Aha!! but Intel would have to pay Jerry's salary and Vehicle and security expenses. An outfit like Intel can't afford Jerry. Craig Barrett draws a much smaller salary.

Peck is just a typical clueless analyst. His previous AMD projections speak for themselves.....loudly. It's amazing that he would pick one of INTC's strongest assets (i.e. their manufacturing prowess) to look for major improvement.

As you pointed out, INTC is the only CPU manufacturer actually making money despite pricing pressures. Yet according to Peckerhead they must become "a much better manufacturer". I guess this means that AMD has to become a much much much much much better manufacturer just to stay in business.
