I used to think it fascinating when I found grown men still actively participating in what is essentially a, "my thingy is bigger/better than your thingy," so many years after passing through puberty. Now, it is simply boring.

Does any of this incessant bickering about whose OS is better, relate in any way to the issues at hand, except in the most peripheral of ways? Are there any plans for this nauseatingly circular discussion to ever end?

This fruitless argument has been raging on for all the many months since I've been reading this board, and I suspect for some time before that as well...and almost always from the same folks.

Do any of the Mac users still honestly harbor a shred of hope that they are going to convince Alomex or Bill Jackson to change their views on the subject of the Mac or its OS?

Do Bill Jackson or Alomex still believe, after all this time, that anyone here is going to convert to Wintel, or sell their Apple stock based on predictions that haven't seen a correct moment in three months, and now seem more wrongheaded than ever?

I'm sorry. I'm sure there will be those of you who think I'm out of line for stating what to me, is so blaringly obvious as to be a no-brainer. And I'm the new kid on the block to boot.

But honestly folks...this is beyond silly.
