To All: Short Interest figures on GSTRF(HUGE!) and IRIDF
Sorry, I had to do the table by hand. Maybe someone can help me do it the easy way the next time.(private message perhaps) I did use fixed font but still didn't work.
GSTRF has HUGE short interest. Looking for any and all explanations.
Short squeeze possible? Or is precipitous drop logical?

BTW, the url for getting short volume is:

Brianh, I just meant I'd told Queenie to use private mail instead of junking the thread. Meanwhile, Rocketman said:
"Inefficient orbital constellation design: 420 miles, 85 degree, circular gives global
coverage, but much of the time you will be flying over the South Atlantic, South Pacific,
Antartica, and other uninhabited regions. Elliptical is much better to concentrate
coverage over populated areas. I have no idea why Motorola would not have seen
that."

I think it is efficient. Total coverage is desirable, provided the cost is not too high. Also
the system is space switched - that means polar switched signals are just fine. So
although the polar satellites won't receive much in the way of handset to satellite
signals, they will carry traffic around the world. Which was the original design concept.
It seems to me they have chosen the best orbital system for a space-switched design.

Though with the change more towards earth switched, this is less important. Globalstar
has no space switching, so satellites over empty areas is a waste of money. Hence the
70 deg max approach to the poles.
Cheer up BrianH, your Qualcomm should do a big rush shortly, then you can do lots of [gggg].

Maurice

PS: Gdichaz, I agree, SatelliteQueen shows a bad attitude so far - hopefully the secret society will put some perks in here for all to share. You know SQ, the more you put in, the more you get out. It isn't a zero sum game.
