Good points. Did you get a chance to check out the Alcatel ad in SF Chronicle or your local major newspaper? My main concern with iPhone is that standards-based (pJava) webphones like Alcatel's and Samsung's might dominate over a proprietary system like InfoGear's/Cidco's. Also, in its rush to be first with a webphone, I think Cidco made a mistake in not going with a larger keyboard. Also, InfoGear's browser needs a "forward" button, and keyboard needs a "delete" key instead of only a backspace key. Also, browser still won't allow access to some banks' homebanking services (Wells Fargo denies access, because InfoGear's browser does not meet Wells' "stringent security standards").
