James Yu:

<<Goldman Saches crossed 196,000 shares which pushed AMD stock price
up 5/8 on last Friday afternoon.>>

Can you explain to me what "crosses" mean? Is it mean that GS handled the transaction or buying?

Thanks
Maxwell

James Yu, Before you get too excited. Here some slight of hand work by AMD. The conversation goes like this CPQ to AMD VP marketing.
CPQ: Were not going to need our usual shipment this month. Won't be needing all those 266@.25 this month. Need to clear out some inventory.
AMD VP marketing: Ah OK! If it's ok with you, we will fill the back channel with some of your allocation, assuming you won't mind, that is, since you don't need them, Ah this month we can fill some other backorders.
CPQ: Fine with us we got a shelf full of them call us if you want some back!
AMD VP: Will keep it in mind! So next months allocation is still a go?
CPQ: I'll have to get back to you on that! Call me next week and I'll see how things are going.
AMD VP to secretary: Get me chipmerchant on the line. And have Finance tell the Analist chips productions is looking a little better.
A day in the life of a silicon snake oil salesman. Result AMD up $2.00 to $24.00 and change in semi-active trading.
