<< The premium of PC100 over PC66 is not the issue, but rather, is the complexity and cost of PC100 going to impact current DRAM manufacturers and will that limit those who will be able to stay in the game b/c of costly upgrades? Another words, Is the the new technology memory hurting other companies more than MU? >>

I don't think PC100 per se is the issue. There is an issue of who will stay in the race - and I think for the glut to be resolved, some major players will have to drop out - but PC100 has only a marginal, short term effect. It is, after all, only an incremental change. The Rambus transition is much more interesting, but it's too soon to make any predictions.
