James Flynn
or
Going Overboard

Yes, James was a entertaining poster. He started out alright and just kept going farther and farther. As you know, I welcomed Flynn to this thread. It was a easy job to spot him as his posts were really articulate, (understatement here). Here is my tongue in cheek warning to this new pseudo-personality, an obvious construct.
Graystone to James Flynn

I have no difficulty with him, I found Mr. Flynn quite humorous as he attempted to characterize all things tolerable but vulgar. He continues to ramble on in the same vein, quite innocently, about dead skin and his wife's feet etc... His intention was to get an audience and he certainly did that. However he did go crazy one night and busted up the joint. The guy must of had a purpose though, he sure was funny till he went nuts. I don't think it was the poem that got him yanked, it was the other stuff right before it.

Good thing she woke up

On a final note, I do not make a habit of complaining and I would certainly never complain about a rational poster, I never complained about James Flynn but may have been instrumental in causing a complaint that got him turfed. I believe the decision by SI to remove all of his posts was likely made in regards to his obvious pattern of building from an innocent start to an obnoxious ending. If only the obnoxious posts were removed Mr. Flynn might seem like a reasonable construct.

Now again, I admit my part in the briles affair, but Flynn never drew a word of protest from me, well , if you don't count that post above.

Since nothing is "off-topic" on this thread, let me admire your research in public. That is NOT sarcasm

As you all well know I came into this rather late and know Flynn only by BLANK. That, I know, is a lame excuse for my ignorance of the true Flynn. All I know of Flynn, the poem you sent me, I do understand; but I don't agree he accomplished anything by using BLANK and BLANKS. Except to get himself tossed out. He would have better served himself, the thread(s) and the readers he was trying to reach by toning it down. IMHO.

EDIT TO THE ABOVE: Having just read "greystone" my opinion now is that Flynn really didn't have a message and was just shooting his mouth off, literally, with obscene phone calls. Good riddence.
