Frank,

You bring up an interesting point which I assume has been addressed elsewhere. Since Tim is the first mmkr I have seen openly represent himself as such, I will address the following to him personally:

Tim, if you read this, I was wondering if your firm makes a market in TAVA or if not, maybe you could suggest some sources of information regarding exactly how mmkrs operate in making a market.

I don't expect you to reveal all your secrets, but a more in-depth understanding of Nasdaq market making activitites is definitely something that is lacking in references.

Regards,

Ron

DocStone, >>Actually Patrick, there WAS a monster buyer...<<

An anonymous person using the internet and claiming such is far, far from unique and I suggest that you should treat such posts, however convincing, with extreme caution. You may not like it but that is 100% sincere advice. I have read many of the 'Tim Flick' posts, from the start.

You know what, I just had six replies to my message. How many considered the point I was making, why logically we should have seen more business to TAVA by this stage?
None.
If I think something is a good idea I want to talk with people who disagree. OK, maybe some think it is such a poor point that it is not worth responding to. But it makes a lot of sense to me. I would like to see the other side of the argument, but maybe I am right.
