Management of a public company has a responsibility (that is legally binding) to act in the best interest of the shareholders and company. This should be examined closely. Where did the money go? Losses for what? Paid to whom? These are the questions the need answers now.

A thorough accounting is necessary at this point. Money may not have been merely squandered or lost in business.
