Bill Grates asks: Rod, when are you going to start owning up to all the Java lies you have been spreading here on SI. Java performance is already superior to Visual Basic and COM and there are data to prove that. As far as C++ is getting close but you'll never match C++ because C++ does not have garbage collection; likewise, C++ will never be as robust as Java. eSuite is brand new and needs improvement but it's the first of many such products which will sell for under $20, complete. That's gonna hurt Microsoft. Can you see GM adopting an Java- and XML-based wordprocessor and presentation package for twenty bucks a seat? Hell, they get 50% of their revenues from office-packs right now. Can you say plunge? I knew you could.
