My favorite is when Alomex confidently (even arrogantly) bet that Corel (at $6) would double before Apple (at $13 ).

JC, thanks for bringing that up. I really cannot think of a better way to explain why I call Apple bulls like you fanatics.

When Corel started falling I had no trouble saying "oops I made a mistake. Sell, sell, sell!" In the end I broke even with COSFF.

At the same time Apple went from $23 in January 1997 to $13 in December of the same year, while the bulls here remained positive. A year later, the stock sits 10% higher than in January 1997.

Has that swayed Apple bulls here? Have they ever said "well, perhaps we were a bit too bullish"?

Fanatism.- To maintain one's position on the face of all evidence.
