Marvin Burkett left AMD in a financial mess. A few months earlier, Vhin Dham left AMD in a technical mess. Andy Grove is still the Chairman.

Did you get the connection? Burkett was responsible for AMD's finance. Now the company is talking about diluting its shares by issuing more stocks. Vhin Dham was the leader that made the decision to go with a more aggressive design rule and bought into IBM's premature (AMD's situation) manufacturing technology. These two guys leaving AMD is really bad indeed!

Andy has cancer. If you do, don't you think you would want to lessen your responsibility over time?
