hi,

can anybody on this thread guide me to a software that will essentially do the TA for me and give me guidance in plain english on a daily basis ? like for instance, let's say a stock like dell, what i would like to see is recommendation on entry points, exit points, short term upward & downward moves, accumulation trends, volume trends etc...

also, would like help on buying a good book for TA..

thanks in advance,

Hello Steve,

Dave's New system (DNS) & Dahl's Primary trend (Dahl) are both Longer term indicators so they will take a little longer to turn both long and short. This means that you will give away points on both sides of the trade, BUT, you will make more with fewer trades in the long run.

That's what YOU must decide when you pick a system to use. Now, there are other ways to use the longer-term systems. I use DNS & Dahl for Direction once I get an entry using StochRSI (14). In fact, I use a shorter term indicators (Andy's StochRSI (8-5) for direction also.

I gave a session on this system last year in Jersey at TAOTB II and may give another one at TAOTB III (TAOTL) this year. If you are really interested in TA I would suggest you attend. It is not just for experienced traders, it's for all that want to Teach, Learn, and Share TA...

No matter to what extent you blossom into a trader/investor remember a few things.
1. Worry about not loosing $$ rather than making $$.
2. No matter what the analysis, after you enter a position
anything CAN happen.
3. What you do after taking a position is key to long term success.
4. Know yourself..
