Kenith,

Calling More Than Once:

If you keep calling a business asking when a product is going to be available, that is not SPAMming! Your logic of common sense is very missing here.

"didn't Intel screw its consumers when they were buying AMD's 386? (delaying shipment of 486's to them)"

Let's say you are running a big company with many customers. Wouldn't you pay more attention to the ones with bigger account. Face it. This is done in the industry every single time. This is called doing business.

You should consider getting yourself enrolled in ASOF. Albert will teach you about common sense and logic.

John.

Kenny - Re: "By the way, didn't Intel screw its consumers when they were buying AMD's 386? (delaying shipment of 486's to them) "

No - why would they do that?

Intel has always used their design and technology advances to offer better value to their customers.

What economic sense would it make withholding new products to these customers?

And by the way - during this time period, Intel was under investigation by the FTC - 1991 - 1993.

The FTC found no cause for any actions against Intel - which pretty much says that your little story is bunk.
