Jack, I just re-checked:

Sept 97 10Q:
"The CD ROM version of the product was released in mid October 1997"

(and ref prev 10Q was being actively marketed before release, and they had already signed 12 engagements for their service before it was packaged on a CD)

The point stands, surely? 30 engagements with discrete and CD version, revenue very low. Doesn't that help make broad judgements about future revenues to help with your investment decision?

>>Your being a little sneaky, aren't you?<<

Absolutely not. These are some of the facts on which I have based my investment decision, I am interested in opposing views. What would be the point of trying to twist the truth? I'd be fooling myself.

I am a retail investor with an opinion. Sometimes my opinion is I should be long a stock. Sometimes it isn't.

To all: With any rapid rise of this or any other stocks on little or no news, and with a stock of this "potential"(soon to be realized), SHORTS will appear. The thread is full if you go back far enough and follow the likes of Johnny W(entertaining but short), Skeptic, Richard S. and now Patrick Booth. I respect their positions and tolerate their
manipulations.

Newbies also have to tolerate the exaggerations of market exuberance, do their own DD because if you don't you will be manipulated by everyone, long and short.

As for Patrick, excellent questions but all prefaced upon this:

"I talked with a number of the companies I deal with about the embedded systems issue and what they are doing about it. Not surprisingly they are aware and they are doing something about it.
Across the whole market some companies will be early, some average and some late to address the problem. My discussions, and other info on what is happening confirm that we are a reasonable way into the cycle."

Patrick is indeed NOT an embedded systems expert nor does he have contacts throughout the industry which are at all "representative" of the embedded systems environment. IT/IS is well underway but embedded systems are far from being recognized even to a "reasonable way" at this time. In fact, the company has repeatedly stated that revenues would appear in this third quarter in all of their CCs. This quarter will tell re revenues.

Go long, go short, but do your own DD. Jack, Cheryl, Tim, or even TMex are in no way financially obligated to do you any services. They are great resources but it is up to the thread to work this out themselves.. Either that, or hire a broker and let them invest in the Fortune 100 for you. BTW, price rise plus shorts, plus complaints about Scott L. always= NEWS. LOL!!! Stephen
