WDC doesn't make an 8.4GB, the IBM is more expensive. Maxtor has made big inroads at DELL.

Tim, regarding high end DELL drives, my new DELL had a 8.4 GB IBM drive. It was DOA, though, and was replaced with a Maxtor.
