Morning Henry,

I have seen this before. I got the same story when
I called Cameco a little while back. They were not able however
to comment on the 1998 drilling program then. I guess they will
not be in this year (one for Buddy).

As has been mentioned by Buddy before (CONFIRMED by this
release kensington-resources.com
we have large kimberlites at FALC. They have certain regions
of higher concentrations than others. Cameco has based their
findings on the entire kimberlite which dramatically reduces
the grades (which one would expect). Our kimberlites are however
considerably larger than world average and I believe zonal
variations might still prove economic.

Please keep in mind the above news release is extrapolating
macro grades based on micro evaluations. We are still waiting for
the official count.

Good Luck everyone.

Kidman.

Henry,

FWIW, I received the same information in an Email from ORVADO. I suspect a lot of other people did as well. If you trace back through this thread you will see some discussion on this information. It is worth a read. I apologize for not having the time review and direct you to the exact posts.

In short, there are many possible reasons for Cameco's 'non participation'. I believe when pressed, Cameco allowed that 'subeconomic grades' found to date did not necessarily dictate the future of FALC.

Well of course they're "subeconomic", otherwise we would be developing a mine. The continuation of exploration would be an extremely positive sign.
