jtechkid, don't forget that AMAT's qtr ends a month later, in April vs Mar. If there are any warnings from AMAT, it will come later in April unless they choose to announce earlier. I agree that the chances are slim that they can meet current estimates and I further believe that any recovery in 1998 may be a little optimistic. By the time AMAT shows their hand, there might have been so much news already that whatever AMAT says is moot. I like your "sucker rallies" and have no problem understanding what you mean. Ramsey
