ATXI confirmed ''that the company has had discussions with individuals claiming to represent Firamada,'' but ''characterized those discussions as preliminary.'' ''The release by Firamada and/or its representatives claiming to have reached an agreement to acquire Atrix International is inaccurate, and misleading,'' ATXI stated.
