News this week should be positive imo, based on several indications until now (esp. the share price action), even if the NR is only a mild precursor to a more complete lab/ analysis report which will include the recently arrived cores. Remember that the best diamond indicator mineral has already been found on Marum's property, that is, the two clear and colourless diamonds recovered from the area last March. This is, of course, among the various other stacked factors and data sets that have been meticulously pored over prior to drilling the first targets (e.g., geologic traits, such as fault structures & low gravity, all occuring on the northern flank of the PRA axis, - mags, geochems, topo data, kill zones, etc). The thin overburden is the definite icing (or lack thereof!) on the cake. ;) At worst we will now have a good collection of samples and data to analyze and cross-refer and compare, for a better understanding of the area's geologic makeup. -See the MMU website for more info re. gathered data in target selection: marumresources.com Also remember that any good news from this property (CG/MMU: 275,000 acres) bodes very well for Marum , as they also have an adjacent JV (50%) with Micrex on 250,000 acres, as well as Marum's extensive 100% owned 400,000 acres, all on the Chinchaga project area. Further, Marum and CaribGold each have separate interests on the highly prospective Hearne Archean craton in Southern AB (where Marum's had their "Pinhorn" property for more than 4yrs). I understand Pure Gold/ CG will be drilling their property down there within a couple weeks (they have already flown the property). Any positive news there will be good for MMU too. The recent shareprice stability is, to me, an indication of the proper and professional handling of information by the companies, and seems to indicate an impending positive report. - Importantly, I feel very good about how this company is run! Here's to good news, -j :> PS -- for those of you who would like to see an example of a hollow stem auger (photos with explanation), go here:littlebeaver.com Or here:cmeco.com (click on the image for a blowup)
