Just got info on the VIX..it's spiking upwards recently and this is bullish...it rates the fear in this market...also OEX & Equity put/call ratios still very onesided...2-1 for puts to calls, another very bullish indicator...As long as FOMC holds tight tomr...9000 should be easy and really beyond...

Drug sector will begin to rally here from selling off recently IMO...

lots of quality co's in that sector...

Later, Jerry

re: QNTM & WDC - will definitely be on my watch list tueday since LS has his vote of confidence on this one too..(me copy cat)On comparison w/ QNTM last week (they "preannounced"), I almost had a disaster, only the investors' confidence (they felt its the bottom for QNTM) that saved me by the bell...expect bottom fishing on QNTM this week since its a new month!!..I see a resistance at $26 1/2++..

re: SCOP $21 - a watch list AGAIN..will place a limit order at 20 5/8 for possible daytrade..my limit "never" fill at 19 1/4 <sob> monday.. I always say watch "SEBL" for this movement, I guess I did not on monday..<sob>

re: UTI and TMAR - TMAR will SELL it at limit 22 3/8 today... UTI will hold it until friday the latest..

to Susan: do u still holding SCOP?...do u know if SCOPs and SEBLs' shareholders finally approve the merger?? TIA...

just me,
eL...(an ex detroiter and now chicago since July '97)
