Jan >>If you question the information that Tim Flick so generously provided to us, on this thread, why did you wait until he left town for one week to bring up your doubts about the Monster Buyer? You had plenty of opportunities to discuss the issue when he was here.<< I have seen 'monster buyer' (or 'our 800-pound gorilla', or 'our guardian angel' etc. talk before, and generally speaking it is not good news. I could either keep that to myself, or offer the information so that anyone who has not experienced it personally can be aware that it is not uncommon and generally not good news. It is really up to you how you take it. >>I was talking with Scott Liolios, just a few days ago. He knows Tim very well, and told me what an honest, upfront person he is. << OK, I'll raise something else I considered in my DD for TAVA: Find out what Scott Liolios was saying about Global Intellicom (GBIT) when it was $7/shr. Check out the two year graph since then. (Clue, it is this shape: \). Does it not strike you as odd that the PR guy for TAVA 'knows very well' someone who is saying how good a stock is on the internet? Someone who seems to have no problem discussing in public what might be regarded as very sensitive information? Do you think it is normal and within normal ethical guidelines for a market maker to tell people on the internet that there is a huge buy order in place for a stock? Hint: think how pleased would you be if you were the 'monster buyer' and found out that you had spent a lot more than you needed to as the price had gone up. >>We saw the stock move from 9.5 to 14.75 and a huge increase in volumne. So, if you can give me another explanation for this kind of action, I'd sure like to hear it.<< You don't want to hear it.
