How about freedom of "polite" speech.
A good example is raised by a poster named KZAP on the Ethnic Slur thread. He is exercising freedom of speech, I think.

This certainly falls within the range of free speech. SI is a community.

I was teaching a friend the basic cuss words in French, they are often heard in English, Sacre Bleu, Chalice Maudit etc... To us they are just words, to people who speak French they are curse words. My sister in law, who is French, often peppers her speech with English words like f*** and sh*t, to her they are just words, no big deal.
