*AV*--PTUS is getting real close to entry for me on a slight risk/reward gamble. I would expect the Motley Fool after hours comments to possibly have a slight downward pressure at the open tomorrow. I am targeting an entry tomorrow after any sign of weakness. AndrewMar 30, 1998 (6:10 PM ET) - The Motley Fool Evening News Packaging test instruments manufacturer Modern Controls (Nasdaq:MOCO - news) dropped $3/4 to $9 after saying its fiscal Q1 sales and earnings will be below last year's levels. The company said sales have been delayed as prospects await more certainty in Asia... Year 2000 problem solver Peritus Software Services (Nasdaq:PTUS - news) dropped $3 1/32 to $5 5/8 after saying that it expects a fiscal Q1 loss of $0.19 per share to breakeven due to lower-than-anticipated license revenue because of "sales force integration issues"... Ferrofluidics Corp. (Nasdaq:FERO - news) , which makes ferrofluids products used in audio loudspeakers, sealing devices, and semiconductors, leaked $13/16 to $4 13/16 after announcing it will take a $3.5 million charge to fiscal Q3 earnings for severance costs, write-downs of assets, and other costs. Tech Master-All you have done is to admit you are as human as the rest of us relative to timing.<gg> You also scored many points by coming forward with your comments on the timing error. As I posted above, PTUS may be getting close to an entry point. Your expertise in this area would be of great help to give us a risk/reward opinion on whether there is even more downside or whether we might form the base here. From 32 to 5.625 is a massive drop and I think I agree with you about a dramatic over reaction of the market. What are the correct resources to share with our community to get a good comprehensive commentary on what PTUS has to offer, why they are not performing, and what the future could hold in store for them.
