this is a brilliant move by cook that benefits CF materially. he can now "have his cake and eat it too". Those banks, including the MECA owners (who can now save face) that want and have the resources to have quicken branded to their own specs can contract with Harrison to have it done...cook can concentrate on fundamentals.

Well, in my opinion this is very good news. It's starting to shape up like this:

1. Intuit/Meca front end.
2. Bank data and services.
3. CheckFree backend.

One big happy family. I know the picture may not be as pretty as I paint it, but it does look like it's moving in the right direction. IMO.
