Hi Barbara: Actually the rules adopted by the FCC for using the 28GHz licenses are extremely flexible and the roll-out can proceed almost instantaneously. The only constraints involve a) polarization scheme at the edges of a BTA, b) radiated power between BTAs, and c) frequency accuracy of the equipment (probably handled by the equipment manufacturer through certification). As you suggest, I will e-mail a question to WCII concerning the P-MP retrofit. Best regards, Bernard Levy
