No it's not laughable. But it is not proven beyond a reasonable doubt as of yet either.

The pilot plant is too expensive and too important to just take a flyer and see if the process works. they need to have strong, conclusive proof before they commit capital and resources.

As far as results, a .3 using the Johnosn method will clearly not be
profitable. My guess is that they would need to approach somewhere close to 1 opt. That is only my guess.

AS far as the value of proving that it is there, current testing gives us an INDICATION that it may be able to be extracted with conventional means. The implication there is that it would also be cost effective and easier to get to. If there is as much gold as is thought to be out there, there will be much interest generated by the market.
