I observed that about a month ago when they issued the press release announcing the interoperability alliance. The response, which makes sense when you think about it, was that TI doesn't need to work on interoperability with WSTL. TI and WSTL are already in bed together on interoperability and WSTL is not a chip maker anyway.

did i miss something? i have reread the PR a few times and can find no mention of any OEM (other than the magical triad of CPQ, MSFT, INTC).
