Mike, I believe what they're selling is their "Intellectual Property" - i.e. - how to design a lightning fast interface between the logic chip and the memory chips. The Architect's architect analogy holds for a small and highly specialized component of the whole. I believe that the IP terms have been used to describe this company's asset prior to IPO especially when comparing RMBS's business model and valuations to that of a software company. (Personally, I think that's taking the analogy and comparison a little too far, but IBEXX may soon correct me. ;-) )
