Perhaps there aren't any legitimate shares left in the market for people to trade. They are all in safe deposit boxes of MSRASC (TM*) participants- awaiting a gold price of $500/ounce. Although the shorts have obviously gotten past Canadian year-end, the absence of shares will nonetheless make covering somewhat expensive when it happens. Perhaps an announcement of actual Santiago gold production will help get things moving once again. How about this week's bulk sampling report?
