Jim, you belong to the group who do not know a thing about PC business.(Since you do not know what I am talking about) Let me tell you another clue. The CPU you bought could be called "remark" CPU. PII is safe for the time being, because Intel shut down this loophole. But for how long..?

Jim P., might I suggest different brands of aspirin for the products in your analogy, since your argument is that there is no difference between similarly configured PCs made by different manufacturers. There is too much difference between Ford and Chevrolet for your argument to be argued in its purest form. Why might someone buy Bayer Aspirin (a commodity product) over a competitor's brand of aspirin?
