To me it's confirmation that this upmove is for real. We had those "official"-looking denials on Friday after the close and even that wasn't able to end this momentum. Something is up. It could be buyout fueled, it could be Apple just taking a large position in GVIL, it could be small cap funds doing the same, whatever. But this sustained strength and big bouncebacks from morning sell-offs is very encouraging. Knowing what is in the pipeline for the company is very encouraging too.

It's funny--Apple has outpaced even Dell's stock price this year and is predicted to earn more this quarter than Compaq. Meanwhile, GVIL must be one of the top NASDAQ gainers, up about 100% this year.

The stories on Friday said that GVIL wasn't expected to show a profit this year. Does anyone think that with v.90s (industry modem sales expected to grow 50% this year), a PB bundling deal with Apple, and an expected low-priced consumer machine from Apple that GVIL can't make a profit? And does anyone think that this company isn't worth $4 when that happens?

Marc

PS--Did Bundashus get it backwards or am I just blanking out on these DMAs?
