I think this friend needs to discuss this with the doctor in detail. If the "impotence" began after initiating zoloft, this is likely the culprit, although it is possible that another one of the meds could be involved, but not nearly as likely. It is possible that a lower dose of zoloft might do the trick while maintaining the benefit, or an additional med might be useful to counteract this(if a zoloft side effect), or a change of antidepressants might be useful. Difficult to say for sure yet the viagra benefits as a possible additional med, as it hasn't been used for this yet on any widescale that I am aware of. However, I sure would expect that data will start coming back soon. Good luck.
