In the case you are speaking of, if you purchased MSFT up 4, or up 6, you would be experiencing a loss right now. The price was inflated during Instinet action, as it often is. After hours trading in stocks with news is risky, price movement is much more exagerated than during normal OTC hours. If you have had the opportunity to watch INTC or MSFT trade on Instinet you would better understand what I am talking about.
