Jim, your post shows that you are really starting to understand what it means to be a Naxos shareholder. You make some very good points and these issues seem all too clear now looking back. In brief, over the last 3 ro 4 years, Naxos had SOME success producing really great numbers using a variety of methods. And that propelled them into never, never land, where Naxos would never grow up to be a big kid in mining. Their problem was finding ONE method that worked as least MOST of the time. That is what lead to J/L and that is what lead to the plans for the pilot plant. If Naxos was going to show 3 opt results, WAY outside industry norm, it would take proof of recoverable metal to really convince the market. In the meantime, BD, for the first time in the history of the company did a COC drill program using all the right equipment that didn't wash out all the PM's. And guess what! Standard Fire Assay worked very well on that ore. It's kind of like this. You're in high school and there is this girl who is your next door neighbor. You know her really well and you treat her more like a "friend" but she really is a great girl AND she likes you but you don't give her the time of day because one time about 2 years ago, this really beautiful blond smiled at you in study hall. And ever since then you have been convinced that the beautiful blond wants to go out with you. Well, low and behold two proms go by and no date with the bombshell. Your freinds have been trying to convince you that the neighbor girl is really a great girl and just as pretty, but you just don't listen. Well one day, your friends get together, get the neighbor girl to get all dolled up and show up at your house. And then WHAMMO! It hits you. She's been there right in front of you all the time, but you had your eyes on something just out of reach. Sometimes its hard to take your eyes off Ginger, but hey, everyone knows that MaryAnn was the better choice. Tom F.
