JU JU, Re -- A gentleman bought 700,000 shares at 8:30 when market opened this mornings. The market opens at 9:30. There are sellers for every buyer. How do you know if someone bought, and not sold. How do you know its not that Volpe Brown guy who sold based on his own recomendation. Stockman

James, All I wish I could. Just listen to Volpe's comments on bloomberg and here is what I can recall: 1)yields are 60%-80% 2)350 max per wafer 3)speed distributions are 266s and 300s even though amd did not ship 300s yet 4)worst is behind 5)but still expect large loss this quarter 6)conservative 12mo target is 35 7)intel is going to suffer 8)amd margins are likely to go from 30s to 40s 9) intel margins are going to drop 10)rumors of some company taking a large equity stake in amd - maybe as high as 25% 11)IBM may be one of them and if it is Intel is going to face competition it never saw before Regards -Albert
