Hmm, the last time Rumors held off until after hours they broke the GVIL rumor, which did have a real effect on the stock price. Don't know which companies will be involved this time but maybe it will move the market a bit again.

Lots of selling at the end--I saw it as the daytraders closing out their positions, and being forced to only accept 2 7/16 instead of the 2 9/16 they missed out on a short time earlier.

Eric posted on the Apple thread that the Apple Store now only offers 6500/300s. My local Apple chain had the 6500s crossed off their specials board. Looks to me like these puppies are finally running out, which means that Apple will be buying another big batch of internals from GVIL. Another positive is that this is the worst quarter of the year for Apple--whatever happens in the earnings report next month, next quarter should be better, with or without Wall Street.

GVIL is showing the same steady buying that AAPL did on the recent move up from $20 to $28. Every dip brings the buying in.

Marc
