I hope MAC "###s or gets off the can" SOON. :) I'm sure there's other companies that would like to use the can.

Dave: According to what you know, is MAC's problem that (a) it has $$ but won't pay MGR, OR (b) it doesn't have any $$ to pay even if it was willing to do so? If (b), is MGR's position that MAC should drop its 51% to 30% or 40% or whatever is the equivalent of what it has paid so far? Finally, you mentioned that the Mongolian Gov't. assigned its rights to MAC. Did the Mongolian Gov't. get compensated for assigning its rights? OR was the assignment made because some relative of the President or some Bob-Hasan-type character, aka "buddy of the Gov't." had an interest in MAC. I just ask that last question because of the Bre-X Saga where friends/relatives of the Indonesian Gov't. were all taking cuts. Sorry to keep harping with these questions, but I'm just trying to figure out how bad/hopeful MGR's situation is.
