Once again, I thank you for responding. I'll check into having it looked at. I was told at a computer repair place recently that they are replacing the tape drives with zip drives pretty often because the tape drives aren't working like they should. What I'd really like to have is a jaz drive that would act as a 2nd hard drive in that I could put some programs on the cds for the jaz and not have that information stored on the hard drive in my computer. But I'm hearing conflicting reports about the possibility of doing that. I guess what I really need to do is talk to Iomega and find out finally what I can and cannot do. Thanks again, Charlotte
