Marty, "The best thing since Microsoft" Were you soft in the head or something when you wrote that?? I would never describe a micro cap as the best thing since Microsoft. For one thing most companies wait until they are large enough to be listed on at least the small cap index. If their business plan is sound then financing has a way of finding its way to them. Often a public offering is only made when a track record exists and the company can quickly utilize the proceeds from the IPO for rapid expansion.

Micro caps are very rarely long term plays and they have a history of being cyclical according to the latest hype and news and not to any fundamental aspect. The entry to the big boards for these stocks is as likely as my friend's son will play major league football. The path is wide but the gates narrow. I think some stocks will make this transition:
