Mark, you may be right. However, there are a lot of companies that are still doing well (e.g. PDS) even during the oil turmoil and earnings have not helped much. Personally, I am selling all my oil stock holdings. Instead I am going long with call options. With so much uncertainty in the oil market I do not expect any significant news, including earnings, to move the market. Only time would tell if these past OPEC meetings will have nay impact on the market. The May-June time frame may be a better time frame for speculating on these stocks. No better way to do it than to buy options if you still there is hope.
