The station will telecast the Texas Rangers Major League Baseball team's homeopener against the Chicago White Sox. Consumers are invited to view the broadcast at the Galleria Superstore located at 13838 Dallas Parkway in Dallas and at the North Richland Superstore located at 8701 AirportFreeway in Ft. Worth. "Since we began advertising this event, customers have been calling our stores forinformation regarding products and the broadcast," McCollough said. "We expect a significant turnout for this historic occasion." The company will show the game on HDTV sets provided exclusively for this event by Panasonic and Zenith. The Panasonic HDTV set is a 56-inch widescreen rear-projection model with a DTV set top converter box. The Zenith HDTV set is a 64-inch widescreenrear-projection model. Both Panasonic and Zenith plan to have sets on shelves this fall.
