just opened a good position on april 35 puts on amat. relatively pretty cheap. i would be shocked if the fed raised rates-ie crash-i think their more opt to start hinting it before they actually do it. is their a shot amat could lose money in the third quarter? we will see. again, if people believe amat will make a 1.52 with this environment at this time they are dreaming. thats all my point. i don't think amat pre announces i think they back door the street like last quarter and they do 37 cents this quarter but then say next quarter because of cautious customers and overall decline in the semi business it is comfortable with more like 12-15 cents for the third quarter. i think what you are seeing such a downturn that we are seeing pre announcement on top of pre announcements. i think amat would get hit hard if they say the 35 cents quarter is not reliable and lower the numbers. only time will tell.
