Hi, Jerome. Not sure that coke will split so soon after last time. I seem to recall, and someone correct or amplify this, that they don't like to split too often. This could be entirely anecdotal; afterall, coke itself is becoming more of a cultural icon than ever and I'm sure there are plenty of legendary tales out there about its history. We've heard plenty of them on this thread, in fact. I wonder how coke is tackling the Y2k problem. Hope that secret formula doesn't fizzle away on an intranet somewhere at the the close of the millenium. Guess someone would have to do reverse engineering.

Laughing all the way to the cooler -- dulane

Jerome, do you know anything about the "float" re coke. I think this is a consideration when they split. I'm not too great on the big notions in the market like dilution and the overall float of shares. If you or anyone else can shed light on these notions, I'd appreciate it. dulane
