Maverick is dead right - read correct or accurate - on his post from his sources. I also have unimpeachable sources that can confirm what he is saying. But - there is more to come that Maverick did not list on his post.

Maverick, Your confidential source is not in the close loop. Your source should have told you AMD won't introduce it's copper technology untill after Dresden fab is in full capacity. Copper is scheduled for FAb 25. but not untill and in conjunction with .18u cmos process. But only after Dresden Fab is sucessful with .18u. This can't happen before 2000 at best. Because of the unique manufacturing properties CU can't be run along side other non copper processes. AMD will have to establish enough demand for cu chips to be able to decide to devote all of fab 25 productoin to cu process. YOu may be a little ahead of yourself.

Maverick,

Re: " AMD plans to announce the yield and other exciting development on
April 7 when the earnings is released. The St. expects $-0.25/shr."

I'm sure all this wonderful news is the reason that AMD has warned about
"significant losses and lower revenue" ... Do you understand any of the
process details and difficulties of these AMD "exciting developments" ??

Make It So,
Yousef
