SMDM - The l00mhz bus is really the data path (highway) between the processor and other parts of the computer in simple terms. For years now, this bus has run at 66mhz, and the top end chips of today are somewhat 'bus constrained' in that they could produce even better performance numbers if the bus were faster. Systems with the 100mhz bus should be available in a couple of weeks from most major manufacturers. They will ship only with the newest and fastest high end Intel chips (350mhz and 400 mhz) initially. In time, when WIN98 appears along with more DVD titles, in addition to faster internet connectivity, these are the types of systems that will best run video and high end graphics. You will pay top dollar for these machines (at least initially), and I don't have any idea of the price premium, but my guess is possibly 200-300 bucks more than top end systems today.
