Keep your finger in the dike until Friday and we will break 32.50 and that will be the 300% increase that I've been waiting for. Then it's sell, sell, sell.

>>Sooner or later the Scop merger will contribute to an ugly quarter, it's just a matter of when.

Am I the only one who does not believe this? I STRONGLY believe that the merger will benefit Siebel both long term and short term. I do not expect any hit and if fact expect them to have robust earnings together. Time will tell but I think Siebel knows what they are doing and it is a good strategy.

Amsterdam,

I agree. SEBL is a great company, but i have yet to see a software merger of this type execute WITHOUT a major stumble. I'm expecting a great sebl quarter and an acceptable scop quarter which should be good for a continued sebl "pop" especially with investor money fleeing commodity hardware.

Timeframe for short is after we get industry evidence of merger challenges - My guess is June quarter may not be a problem, but perhaps september will be ugly. Too early to tell, but we'll start our digging early.
