Market Assessment: Basically, if every index isn't up tomorrow, I will move all Mutual Finds that I can to fixed interest accounts by day end*. Specifically, the DJIA needs to remain above 8715, the S&P500 abov 1095 and the NCM above 1820, although I would accept the other indices being level or down if the market moves up nicely tomorrow. Only the NASDAQ, Russell 2000 and Gold/Silver indices are above the high from 1 week ago, and the S&P500 is borderline. The neural net is saying that this correction is a prelude to a larger one in the next 10-15 days, although remember that the net is designed lead by at least a week. I personally believe we have a chance at a DOW 9000 before a major correction, but two decades have taught me to rely less on my opinion than analysis. And they were costly lessons.
