Interesting news. I'm hoping that this is Cymer's way of handling Komatsu's lawsuit against them.

Thanks for the news.. I didn't know that.

It seems that Cymer really wants to take over the DUV laser market. My question is.. with a 5% royalty how much money will they make off an exclusive Japan agreement? They can also sell non-exlusively to other locations? Does Seiko make all the parts or do they buy certain items from CYMER? If Seiko makes the whole thing and sells it for $450,000 then cymer gets $22,500 on 5%? How much is $3 million worth divided by X number of units?
