Russ, I think that deregulation is a step toward repatriating the yen, but on a long term basis. They don't really have a heck of a lot of cash to pour in to the US any more, so I don't know if that will happen. But bank failures are a given. As in the US in the 1980s, how many is not a problem. How big is. So watch out for any household names that look sickly. Then, watch out for their derivative deals with US and European banks. That could be a killer. MB
